Bondi Pavilion Public Artwork
The core purpose of this artwork is to recognise the history, culture and presence of the traditional custodians of Australia. The work should reflect themes specific to the Gadigal and Bidjigal people. The artwork is to serve as a recognition of the world’s oldest surviving continuous culture. The artwork must consider the presence of Aboriginal history, culture, custom and tradition specific to the area.
The artwork should be incorporated into the building redesign process with consideration to ensure a prominent and self-determined Aboriginal cultural presence within the building.
