Jessie Longbottom is a Dharawal woman belonging to the La Perouse Aboriginal community. Her ancestors include Emma Timbery, Mary Ann Lyons, William Dixon, Betsy Madden, John Sims and Lucy Lyons.

For the last ten years, Jessie has worked in roles close to her heart and centred around Aboriginal community matters. She is passionate about enhancing her community and continues to increase her understanding of matters relating to the broader Aboriginal community through participation and studies.
